Drumm is equipped to serve young people who need help dealing with the emotional strains and behavioral issues that develop in disruptive family situations. We are not a treatment center and consequently are not prepared to meet the special needs of children with serious clinical disorders. Drumm is not structured to provide the restricted living necessary for young people with a history of prolonged drug abuse, runaways, or children with a history of violence.
Support Services: Medical and dental professionals from the community are available for residents when needed. Licensed counselors/psychologists provide services on a weekly basis.
A variety of recreational and educational opportunities are available at Drumm and in the community. Students are expected and encouraged to participate in extra curricular activities.
The Andrew Drumm Institute provides services to children and families regardless of their race, color, creed, ethnic background or national origin. It does not discriminate in the administration of its program or in the employment of its staff. |
